If anyone can help with advice on uploading photos to actually showing on your Blog page like Emily Benchleys (have a look if you haven't yet as she has a great looking site)? Same with the Youtube clip.
Anyway below is the link to my new flicr account (a selection of photos over the last 10 years)
Phil Carroll Photos
I'll put some more on there later when i learn the ropes a bit more and can make them a bit flashier.
Any light you technical geniuses can provide on the above would be greatly appreciated (I'll buy you a drink next time i see you)
Stay safe - Phil
You look like 2 different people without your beard Phil!! Some great, fun photos there. Im also having problems uploading on to my bolg, when I last tried a few days ago, I managed to get them on there, but they were so small you could hardly see them! Im focusing on working this out today, so will let you know if I ever get there!
ReplyDeleteHi Phil I followed the link to the photostream on Flickr to view the photos and think they're wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a wide variety of photos and I like that you'd titled them all so I got an idea o which shows or numbers they were from.
To get the photos to appear on your page you need to edit your blog. In the deign section where you can view the layout of your blog there should be little boxes saying "add a gadget" Then you can flick through and find photostream from Flickr and its pretty straight forwards from there.
I had to mess around with the HTML for my portfolio pics to get them in the white box so let me know if you want any more info on that.
Thank you for your kind comments about my blog, silly as it sounds I was a little self conscious about it so it's nice to hear good things.
If you think I can improve on something let me know.
Best wishes, Emily
Hi Phil,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!! Everytime I look at people's photos I wish I could've seen the shows :)
Looks like you've had a great career and a very varied one at that. It's great that you have had the opportunity to both Sing and Dance as sometimes this can be a little frustrating for performers who are both Singer/Dancers.
I also did the same as Emily, I used the flickr photostream tool when you edit blog to get my pictures onto my blog page, hope you manage to figure it out. I feel that this course is becoming more and more about that, wanting to do something and then delving and researching until you've achieved it, well i guess that goes for life in general :)
Take care, Jo xx
Hi Phil. As discussed on the tube journey home, here is the website to become audience members for shows on TV.

Hey Phil!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are great!! you have such a broad range of photographs, it shows the experience you have gained in the past! like Michelle said, you look completely different with and without your beard!
Unfortunately I have no idea about the photos on your blog, I'm still trying to work it out! Will let you know if I have a break though!
